From a free Reading Growth Check to your child's first practice session
The free check and the daily program have different jobs. Here is the path from understanding a starting priority to practicing it.

A parent or guardian creates the account, adds their child, and gives consent. The Reading Growth Check is for grades 3 to 8 and uses short questions to suggest an instructional starting point. You can pause and return.
No card is needed for the check. Viewing the results does not enroll you in a paid membership.
Read the profile before choosing a plan
Your Reading Profile identifies strengths, areas to practice, and a first priority. It also explains what needs additional evidence, including oral reading fluency.
This is not a clinical diagnosis, standardized assessment, Lexile result, or grade-equivalent score. If concerns persist, discuss them with your child's teacher or another qualified professional.
See how that priority becomes practice
Daily practice uses the priority as a starting target when no adult-checked placement takes precedence. The recommendation can refresh as saved practice answers provide more information.
The session combines Word Work, Words and Knowledge, Reading the Story, Making Meaning, and Quick Review. It is designed for about 15 minutes, with support and pause options.
Choose membership only if the routine fits
The free check helps you decide what to work on; membership provides the daily practice program. A sample session lets you look at the experience without signing up.
Compare the monthly and annual options on the pricing page. Review the total, trial terms, and billing information shown before confirming payment.
Keep the evidence honest
Finishing sessions shows participation. Reliable evidence of growth also needs success across different items and days, less help, and skills holding during later review.
Independent practice does not require an adult to score every session. Measured oral reading fluency does require an adult check. Automated speech scoring does not decide results.
